How to Record Individual Agent Payments

We have added a new function that will allow you to enter agent payments to a booking in order to record payments from the agencies commission to the agent or agents on record.

To begin, you will add the agent payment to the booking in question. Start by navigating to the booking and selecting Add in the menu bar, followed by Agent Payments.



In the Add Agent Payments window that appears, you can select the agent that the payment belongs to, as well as the amount, check number, check date, and optionally, which account in the Bank Accounts screen the payment will be recorded in. Once you have entered this information, click on OK to save.



To view agent payments that have been added to the booking, you can click on View in the menu bar, followed by Agent Payments.



The window that populates will show you every payment that has been recorded for the booking, as well as which agent the payment belongs to and the amount. You may also edit the agent payments in this window using the edit button to the right of the payment you would like to change.


You can also view agent payments within the Summary tab of the booking in the Agent Summary section. In this section, it will show you both the gross and net commission for the agent, as well as any amount that has already been paid, and any amounts still left due.



To remove agent payments that have been recorded in the booking, you will need to click on Remove in the menu bar, followed by Agent Payments.



In the window that appears, you can remove payments by clicking on the trash can icon to the right of the payment you would like to remove from the booking.



To run a report of the agent payments recorded for bookings, you will navigate to the Reports screen by clicking on Screens in the menu bar, followed by Reports.



In the Reports screen, you can select Agent Payments Report, or Agent Payments Report Secondary. In the remaining fields, select your report parameters and the resulting export or preview will show all of the invoices and information relating to payments entered for the agents of record.
