Merging Items in List Maintenance

Merging Items in List Maintenance

There is now the option to merge duplicated items within List Maintenance!

To start, you will need to navigate to your List Maintenance by clicking on Tools in the menu bar, followed by List Maintenance.



Within the List Maintenance window, you can select the list containing the items you would like to merge together by clicking on the drop down box in the main part of the window. You can also see more lists of items by clicking Advanced at the bottom of the window. 



When you have found the items you would like to merge, you will click on the Merge Row button to the right of the item you would like to retain. 



In the Merge List Items window that appears, you will first make sure that the list item you would like to keep is in the "Merge Items To" drop down box. In the "Select Items to Merge" box, you will then choose the item(s) you would like to merge into the first list item you selected. Once you have chosen the items you would like to merge, you will click on Save and Close.



In the event there are multiple items you would like to merge within the same list, you can save time by clicking on the arrow to the right of Save and Close and instead selecting Save and New. This will clear the options from the Merge List Items window and allow you to select another set of items to merge together.
